Nordlux Griffin 2218126047 outdoor ceiling light, black with smoked diffuser, 2×E27

Name: Nordlux Griffin 2218126047 outdoor ceiling light, black with smoked diffuser, 2×E27
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Griffin 2218126047 is an outdoor ceiling light built around a black square frame and a round smoked diffuser. Its aluminium body is powder coated in RAL 9005, while the diffuser is plastic. Straight bars surround the curved cover without hiding the bulbs completely, giving this fitting a different appearance from an opaque ceiling disc. Plan around the square footprint The fitting measures 26 cm in both width and length, with a height of 12.8 cm. The diffuser itself has a diameter of 23.5 cm. Allow for the outer frame when checking the mounting surface rather than using the smaller circular measurement. Its short projection matters above a passage where a hanging light would occupy more headroom. Designed by Says Who, the regular geometry supports a modern, minimalist setting. Black framing and visible bulbs also work alongside industrial details. The distinction is in the open framework surrounding a rounded diffuser, rather than decorative ornament or a continuous white lighting surface. Choose two E27 bulbs separately Griffin has two E27 sockets, each with a maximum bulb rating of 15 W. Bulbs are not included. Your selection determines brightness, light colour and the appearance seen through the smoked cover, so the warm light shown in photographs does not establish a fixed colour temperature for the fitting. Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and compatible control equipment. This should not be confused with an integrated brightness controller. Nordlux specifies a 220–240 V supply and permits parallel connection, which can be considered when planning the electrical installation. Ceiling lighting for a covered outdoor area The manufacturer identifies Griffin as an outdoor light with IP44 protection. Ceiling mounting makes it an option beneath a covered entrance, terrace, balcony or garden pavilion. Check the available mounting area and clearance against its dimensions before choosing a position; the protection rating does not replace assessment of the actual installation site. Nordlux states that the fitting is not suitable for seaside conditions. Class II denotes double insulation. IP44 provides protection against splashing water, not immersion or complete dust tightness, so those stronger forms of protection should not be assumed.Mostrar mais
