Egersund Mini 1291AL is a low Norlys bollard light, 49 cm tall and 12 cm in diameter, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. The body is cast aluminium; the top 16 cm is a clear PMMA cylinder through which you can see the conical element that directs the light sideways. How much light it gives, and what kind The integrated LED module draws 9.1 W and the luminaire delivers 864 lm (the source itself is rated at 1370 lm). That is slightly more than an old 60 W bulb — at a height of 49 cm it is enough to light a path, a flower bed or the edge of a driveway around the bollard. A colour temperature of 3000 K means warm, slightly yellowish white light. The light spreads evenly all around; the manufacturer gives a BUG rating of B1-U3-G1. The luminaire can be dimmed with a phase dimmer of the trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE) type. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service (service set ZS1291zx0013), and the manufacturer states a source lifetime of L80 over 102,000 h and L90 over 52,600 h. Installation and wiring The bollard weighs 3.51 kg and is fixed with three bolts through ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 65 mm circle. Fixing parts are not included: Norlys sells a concreting anchor 205ZX0010, a ground anchor 206GA0010, a concrete foundation adapter 206GA0S10, a mounting adapter 3086GA0009 and a connection box 6138 separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2×4 mm², and the next luminaire can be looped through with up to 2×2.5 mm², so several bollards along a path run from a single line. The cable gland accepts a round cable 8–12.5 mm in diameter. The manufacturer specifies that installation is carried out by a licensed electrician. Durability and where it fits IP65 means the luminaire is dust-tight and protected against water jets, while IK08 stands for impact resistance — relevant by a driveway and in areas used by many people. It is a class II luminaire, so it needs no protective earth conductor, and the manufacturer allows operation from −20 to +45°C.
