Cedric Medium is a pendant 33 cm across and 39 cm tall in matt black. The silhouette is plain — a cylindrical shade on a rigid rod — but inside sit two E27 lampholders rather than one, which at this size gives noticeably more light than a typical decorative pendant.Two sources in one shadeSplitting the load across two lamps instead of one has a practical effect: each can run at lower output, so brightness inside the shade spreads more evenly and no single harsh point shows through the glass. The combined 2 × 60 W is the lampholder ceiling — with modern LED lamps the actual draw is several times lower.Etched opal glassThe shade is etched opal glass. The etching and the opal work together: the glass is not transparent, so the filament or diode never shows, and the light leaves diffused across the whole surface of the shade. For the user that means no glare when looking towards the fitting — which matters when it hangs low over a table, at the eye level of people seated around it.Suspension and installationDrop height is set with rods rather than a chain or cable, so the fitting hangs rigid and does not rotate on its own. Four rods are supplied: two of 152 mm and two of 305 mm, giving a range from 49 to 140.4 cm — from a low drop over a worktop to high ceilings. The fitting is protection class I and therefore needs an earth conductor. It weighs 5 kg, is intended for dry interiors, and carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
