Poroshell Extend 300 C18 HPLC column with 2.1 mm inner diameter, length 75 mm and 5 µm particle size. A reversed phase C18 HPLC column with porous particle surface. The 300-Extend C18 contains a unique bidentate silane that enables the column to withstand pH up to 11.5. Agilent Poroshell columns are ideal for the rapid separation of proteins and peptides as the unique particles enable high flow rates while maintaining sharp and efficient peaks. Peptides and proteins are normally separated slowly to reduce the potential peak broadening of these slow diffusing analytes. However, Poroshell columns utilize a unique particle with a layer of porous silica on a solid core of silica. This reduces the diffusion distance for proteins, enabling rapid HPLC separation of peptides and proteins up to 500-1,000 kDA.
