NORLYS Lofoten 1941GB is a low platform bollard: a cubic framed lantern in galvanised and powder-coated steel with safety glass. The GB finish is beige-grey. Height is 27 cm on a footprint of about 23 × 23 cm, so the body sits just above a terrace or low wall rather than at garden-lantern height.Light and lamp A single E27 holder takes a replaceable A55–A60 lamp. No lamp is supplied; the datasheet limits power to LED max 11 W. Light is uncovered and only partly shielded from above, so it leaves through the clear panes to the sides. Colour, output and any dimming follow the lamp you fit — the fitting does not set them. Safety glass shows the lamp and the steel frame. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland close the housing. IP44 covers splashing water, not immersion. Protection class II. Mains ~220–240 V. Operating range −20…+45 °C.Fixing on a platform The base has four ø5.8 mm holes on a 70 × 70 mm pitch. Norlys specifies fixing on a wall, platform or other structure, not driving a pole into soil. Terminals accept max 2 × 2.5 mm², with looping max 2 × 1.5 mm²; use round-sheathed cable ø7–10.5 mm. The card points to terraces and other architectural settings. At 27 cm the luminaire marks a terrace edge, a step onto a platform or the ground around a gazebo more usefully than it can light a road. Match the lamp to path width and to whether you only need an outline or a readable tread.Form and finish Galvanised, powder-coated steel and clear safety glass make a simple, classic body: upright frames and a more closed top. Beige-grey paint sets 1941GB apart from black 1941BL. Condensation inside the glass can be a natural effect and is not, by itself, a fault.
