Wall lamp FREYA 90 black

Name: Wall lamp FREYA 90 black
Brand: Thoro

Thoro FREYA 90 is a black steel wall light with a 90 cm tall, rectangular cover. Its narrow 6 cm width gives the fitting a distinctly vertical outline rather than the shape of a conventional shaded wall lamp. It takes one replaceable GU10 bulb, which must be purchased separately.Measure the wall, not just the widthThe 90 cm height is the main consideration when placing FREYA beside a doorway, mirror or piece of furniture. Compare that measurement with the uninterrupted wall area you have available. The manufacturer also specifies a length of 8 cm alongside the 6 cm width, so the slim front alone should not determine whether a position is suitable. Most of the construction sits behind the long black cover. When the lamp is off, this leaves a simple geometric element on the wall. A single fitting can mark one section of the room, while several separately purchased lights can form a repeated arrangement.Choose the GU10 source separatelyThere is one light point, with a maximum bulb power of 10 W. This is a source limit rather than a stated brightness for the complete fitting. As no bulb is supplied, check the specifications of the GU10 source you intend to buy; the resulting illumination also depends on that choice. The manufacturer describes the lighting function as diffused light, and the photographs show light emerging near the lower edge of the cover. FREYA can provide supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, hallway, dining room or kitchen. That role does not make it a substitute for dedicated task lighting.Steel geometry and an electrical wall connectionThe elongated housing and absence of ornamental detailing suit modern, minimalist and loft-style interiors. The fitting operates on 230 V and belongs to electrical protection class I; the installation instructions show a protective-earth connection. Plan for an appropriate electrical connection at the mounting position. Its IP20 rating does not establish suitability for outdoor installation or locations exposed to water.Pokaż więcej
