Nora 2470BL is a flat square outdoor wall light, 13 cm a side and 5 cm deep, in cast aluminium painted black RAL 9005. It emits in two directions — up and down — through clear glass with a silicone gasket.ULOR 50% — half the light goes upwardThat is not a flaw but the whole idea of the fitting: the manufacturer declares ULOR = 50%, an even split of the output between up and down. On a facade it produces symmetrical, soft washes above and below the fitting — an architectural effect rather than a functional one. But it is worth knowing what you are buying: Nora will not light a path or a doorstep, because only half of its 1103 lumens go downward, and it does not belong where upward light emission is restricted.IP65 and IK09 — a level you rarely seeIP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jetted from any direction. The second figure matters more, though: IK09 is resistance to a 10-joule impact — rarely found on facade wall lights and genuinely useful where the fitting hangs low, by a passageway, in a car park or in public space.
