Quintiesse Urban Restoration semi-flush ceiling light, 3 × E27, dark antique brass, IP44

Name: Quintiesse Urban Restoration semi-flush ceiling light, 3 × E27, dark antique brass, IP44
Brand: Quintiesse

Quintiesse Urban Restoration QN-URBANREST-3SF is a three-arm semi-flush ceiling light with a steel frame in dark antique brass. Clear glass shades sit inside elongated metal cages, leaving the bulbs visible rather than hiding them behind an opaque diffuser. Its short ceiling stem and exposed connections give the fitting an industrial character without a hanging cable or chain.A shallow fitting with a broad footprintThe overall height is 149 mm and the diameter is 654 mm. Although it sits close to the ceiling, the arms still occupy more than 65 cm across. Compare that footprint with the available ceiling area, nearby cupboards and opening doors before deciding where to install it. A low profile does not make the fitting narrow. The ceiling pan is 140 mm in diameter and 32 mm high. Height adjustment is not provided, so the position of the shades relative to the ceiling is fixed by the construction rather than by an adjustable suspension.Choose three E27 bulbs separatelyThe fitting takes three E27 bulbs, each rated at a maximum of 60 W, or suitable LED equivalents. Bulbs are not included. Their shape remains visible through the clear glass even when the light is switched off, making the bulb choice part of the appearance as well as the lighting specification. The manufacturer recommends vintage-style filament bulbs.Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulbs you choose; neither is fixed by this fitting. Dimming requires compatible dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch. The dimmer is also supplied separately, so include it in the installation plan if adjustable light levels are required.Bathroom use and vintage cage detailingThe manufacturer specifies indoor use, including bathrooms, with an IP44 rating. A bathroom installation must still meet the requirements of its particular electrical zone; IP44 does not permit every location beside a bath or shower. The shallow format is also suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and hallways. The cage framework, visible joints and dark brass finish support industrial, loft and retro interiors. Brass describes the finish here, not solid-brass construction: the frame material is steel.Pokaż więcej
