Bazar Bizar Kotak-Kotak Teak Wood Cake Stand, Natural 24 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Kotak-Kotak Teak Wood Cake Stand, Natural 24 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Bazar Bizar's Kotak-Kotak cake stand pairs a shallow round dish with a carved pedestal. Made by hand in Indonesia from natural teak wood, it has a smooth serving surface above an irregular grid of squares cut into the base. Wood grain and colour vary between pieces, so the photographs show the design rather than an identical finish on every stand.Allowing for the dish and its heightThe stand measures 24 cm in length and width and 16 cm in height. For this round dish, the 24 cm measurement describes its outside dimensions, not a guaranteed flat area of the same diameter. The raised edge slopes gently towards the centre. Compare both that shape and the overall size with your cake or pastries before choosing it.The pedestal raises the serving surface above the tabletop. When arranging dishes, allow for the combined height of the stand and the cake placed on it, as well as its width. The 16 cm height also matters when finding a cupboard space for the empty stand.A serving dish, not a baking tinThe manufacturer specifies contact with dry food only. Choose baked goods and small snacks that meet that restriction rather than treating the shallow bowl as a vessel for wet food. It is not suitable for an oven or microwave and must not be washed in a dishwasher. For serving in a kitchen, dining room or living room, the widening pedestal remains part of the presentation. Its hand-carved grid and natural wood surface support rustic, boho and ethnic styling. The contrast is between the patterned foot and the undecorated dish, not between different painted colours.Cleaning the carved wooden standRemove dust and crumbs with a soft cloth or brush. For more thorough cleaning, the producer recommends a damp cloth with mild soap, followed by thorough drying without soaking the wood. Do not leave moisture on the surface for extended periods. Occasional maintenance of the food-contact surface should use an oil suitable for contact with food.Pokaż więcej
