Swell 1 Light Bathroom Wall Light IP44 - Brushed Brass Elstead

Name: Swell 1 Light Bathroom Wall Light IP44 - Brushed Brass Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Swell is a bathroom wall light by Quoizel, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. A curved arm rises from a round backplate and holds a hanging shade of frosted, fluted glass. The steel body is finished in brushed brass. Where it can go The manufacturer rates it for interiors and bathrooms, and IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction — it can hang, for example, beside the mirror above a basin. It is Class I, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor. The wall light is 23.7 cm tall and 12.7 cm wide and projects 17.1 cm from the wall. The round backplate is 12.7 cm in diameter — the figure to compare with your junction box and with the free wall space beside the mirror. The fitting weighs 1.1 kg. Light source included A 3 W G9 LED capsule comes in the box, so the light works as soon as it is installed. It gives 300 lm, which the manufacturer equates to a traditional 28 W bulb — task light beside a mirror rather than the main light for the whole bathroom. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 renders colours adequately for everyday use. The capsule is replaceable, and the manufacturer rates it for 25,000 hours, around 23 years at three hours a day. The fitting is compatible with dimming, provided you use a dimmer and a G9 capsule marked as dimmable. Style The manufacturer calls Swell an American classic with a timeless metropolitan look: the arched arm, the profiled lampholder and the fluted glass recall traditional bathroom lights. It suits a bathroom and a dining room alike.Pokaż więcej
