Here you will receive a steering rack boot with 2 clamps for steering gears with power steering. The steering rack boot fits left and right. The joints on tie rods are subject to wear, which usually starts with a torn boot. Once the grease has been washed out of the axial joint or tie rod end, the ball joint will fail within a few thousand kilometers. At the latest during the vehicle inspection (TÜV), the defective rubber boots or ball joints will be flagged. Depending on the Porsche model, the tie rods can consist of two or three main components.
