Remove the triangular, black plastic cover at the end of the dashboard, accessible with the passenger door open. 2. Loosen the screw underneath the long, thin switch panel. 3. Carefully pull off the knobs of the two heating/air conditioning control sliders using a small flathead screwdriver or plastic spatula. 4. Carefully detach the cover of the heating/air conditioning control unit from the side using a plastic spatula or a very small flathead screwdriver. The cover is secured with four small clips (two at the top, two at the bottom). Be careful, the old plastic parts break easily. Loosen all four screws of the control unit and pull it forward one centimeter. 5. Carefully rotate the internal sensor rosette (small, round grille) approximately 30 degrees to remove it. Loosen the screw behind it. 6. Using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the cover to the left of the right fan grille and the screws behind it. 7. Now you can easily remove the switch panel and detach the ATA (Automatic Air Conditioning) unit from its two screws. The somewhat stiff connector is not clipped in and simply pulls off. 8. Keep the screws safe and send us only the display module. Installation is the reverse of removal. Note: Ensure the internal sensor hose hasn't slipped off and ideally use a cable tie to secure it. Duration: 15 min Tip: Avoid buying a (still) working, but never refurbished, ATA. It's only a matter of time before it also fails. Save yourself time, money, and hassle.
