Sigma Albert 2 32176 ceiling light with a black mesh frameAlbert 2 is a compact ceiling-mounted fitting built around a strong horizontal outline. Two bulbs sit side by side within a rectangular cage whose long and short faces are filled with fine perforated mesh. The lamps remain visible through this screen, while the open construction gains a clear architectural boundary. Black painted steel gives the lampholders, cross rails, squared supports and rectangular ceiling canopy a consistent finish. An open underside keeps both bulbs accessible and prevents the broad frame from appearing completely enclosed.Measuring 40 cm wide, 16 cm deep and 25 cm high, the fitting offers a distinctive alternative where a long pendant drop would take up too much space. Its proportions can work in a kitchen, hallway, bedroom or a compact living area. The combination of dark metal, right angles and exposed lamps is particularly suited to modern or industrial interiors. Bulb choice also changes the visual character because the glass remains clearly on show. Transparent globes with decorative filaments accentuate the engineered mesh structure, whereas opal bulbs create a quieter look and make the internal filaments less prominent.Select two E27 bulbs for the intended atmosphereThe bulbs are not supplied. Two replaceable E27 lamps allow colour temperature, output and bulb profile to be chosen for the room rather than fixed by the fitting. Sigma specifies a maximum for each lampholder of 60 W with a conventional lamp or 15 W with LED.
