Palta chandelier - 9 light sources - Satin black Elstead

Name: Palta chandelier - 9 light sources - Satin black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Palta is a Kichler chandelier shaped as a flat steel ring 87.6 cm across, finished in satin black. Nine lampholders sit around the ring, each with a small black dish, and the bulbs stay on show. It is distributed by Elstead Lighting. Size and suspension The ring is 87.6 cm in diameter and only 10.9 cm high, so from the side it reads as a thin line. Compare the diameter with the width of your table or the open floor area beneath it — over a table it is usually hung so the lower edge sits 70–80 cm above the top. The chandelier hangs from three 200 cm wires, and the overall height is set during installation anywhere from 26 to 185.5 cm. The round ceiling canopy is 14 cm across and 2.5 cm deep. The fitting weighs 7.22 kg, so the ceiling fixing has to carry that load. It is a Class I fitting, which means it must be connected to an earth conductor. Bulbs and light The nine E14 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included, and because they are visible, their shape and colour decide how the fitting looks — the manufacturer openly suggests changing the bulbs to change its look. For dining and living rooms, 2700–3000 K is the usual choice: warm, slightly yellow light. The fitting is compatible with dimmable bulbs: dimming needs a dimmer switch and bulbs marked as dimmable. Construction and intended rooms The ring, dishes and canopy are steel. The form is modern — one smooth circular line with no ornament, broken only by the rhythm of the nine dishes. The manufacturer intends it for living and dining rooms, and it also works over a table and in a hallway with enough ceiling height. It is for indoor use only. The same model is also available in champagne bronze.Pokaż więcej
