SENZA R is a compact outdoor ceiling light, 9.5 cm across and 9 cm deep — a form closer to a cylinder than to the usual flattened ceiling fitting. The body is anthracite grey and the underside is closed by clear glass with a black trim, so switched off the fitting reads as a dark disc with no visible electronics. IP65 — for places with no shelter An IP65 rating means fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. At that level the fitting can go on a completely exposed soffit: an uncovered terrace, beneath a balcony, in a carriage entrance or a garden pavilion. Rain driven at an angle, or hosing the surface down, is not a problem. Built-in LED with the driver inside The fitting runs a built-in LED supplied with the product — no lamp to buy and no space to find for one. The driver sits inside the body, so the back box receives ordinary 230 V. The LED draws 6 W and gives 480 lm of warm white at 3000 K. At that output SENZA R lights a defined part of a space — an entrance, steps, a section of terrace — rather than a large area; for a longer run it pays to space several out. Glass rather than plastic The cover is glass, which matters outdoors in a practical way: glass does not yellow under UV as polycarbonate does, and it loses none of its clarity after several seasons. The black trim around the glass finishes the lower edge and hides the joint with the body. Sister version The same fitting is also made in white under code R13622 — against a pale terrace ceiling or a white façade that variant is worth considering, and because the dimensions and ratings are identical, the two colours can be mixed within one scheme.
