A bracket that replaces drilling the profile MET is a metal mounting bracket made for the LUMINES atom LED profile. The principle is simple: the bracket screws to the substrate and the profile clips into it — with no holes drilled through the profile itself. That has two practical consequences. First, the profile wall stays intact, so no screw heads and no chipped paint show on it. Second, the profile can be taken down and refitted later — when the wall is repainted, or the LED tape replaced — without drilling again. One of three official mounting techniques The manufacturer provides three ways to fix the atom profile: double-sided tape, a suspension kit, and the bracket. Tape is the quickest but is unsuited to ceilings and dusty substrates; the suspension kit is for hanging the profile. The MET bracket is the answer for surface mounting where the joint should be permanent and demountable at the same time — on a wall, in joinery, under a shelf. Rock Anthracite RAL 7016 This variant is finished in Rock Anthracite (RAL 7016) — one of the colours LUMINES offers the atom profile in as well. The match is deliberate: the bracket stays visible after installation, so matching it to the profile colour makes the whole line of light read as one element rather than a profile on foreign clips. RAL 7016 is a dark, cool anthracite — the same shade found in window frames and façade systems. What to know before buying The bracket is sold singly, and the number needed follows the length of the profile — the manufacturer shows their spacing on the atom system's installation diagram. The bracket is specific to the atom profile and will not fit profiles of another cross-section. Screws and plugs are not included; choose them to suit the substrate.
