LED profile LUMINES HIRO raw 1 m recessed trimless for plasterboard

Name: LED profile LUMINES HIRO raw 1 m recessed trimless for plasterboard
Brand: Lumines

HIRO is a recessed aluminium LED profile made to sit inside plasterboard construction and be filled flush. The raw version carries neither lacquer nor anodising. This length is 1 m, with perforated mounting wings running along both sides. Size and how much tape fits Wings included, the profile is 57.4 mm wide. The body alone is 27.2 mm wide and 14.7 mm high, and the inner channel measures 20.8 mm across and 12 mm deep. The maker specifies two parallel LED strips of up to 12 mm each in that channel. The optimised height lets the profile go in without altering the supporting structure of the ceiling or wall. Installation The wings are perforated, so the profile is fixed either with screws or directly with filler — the holes give it grip. It ends up buried under the skim, and the finished ceiling shows only the line of light. Lengths cannot be joined into one run — the maker rules joining out explicitly, so a longer line has to be ordered in one piece. The catalogue lists 1000, 2020 and 3000 mm, with custom sizes up to 6 m made to order. The profile is not rated to be driven over. What has to be bought separately What ships is the profile on its own. The cover comes from the DOUBLE range — PMMA or PC, in transparent, clear, frosted, milky, frosted milky, opal or black — and the end caps with a cable hole are ABS in four colours, with a DOUBLE plastering trim available too. The LED strip and the driver are also outside the box. The driver mounts outside the profile, since the channel has no room for it — so where it will be hidden has to be settled in advance. On its own, with no cover and no sealing, the profile is rated IP20 and belongs in dry interiors only. Light leaves perpendicular to the face of the profile, and the maker intends it for decorative and main lighting alike.Pokaż więcej
