FIGARO is a Lucide table lamp built from two parts: a slender, bottle-shaped porcelain base in a glossy speckled glaze of warm grey-beige, and an opal globe sitting on a brass-toned metal disc. It stands 48.8 cm high and measures 12 cm at its widest. How much room it takes and where it fits The base measures 12 cm across and takes up less surface than a saucer, so the lamp fits a narrow console or a bedside table beside a book. The 48.8 cm height is the figure to compare with the piece of furniture it will stand on — that is what decides whether the lit globe ends up above or below the eye level of someone sitting next to it. The manufacturer gives the same minimum and maximum height, so the lamp is not adjustable and 48.8 cm is the only figure to plan around. It weighs 1.6 kg, with the mass concentrated in the ceramic base. How much light it gives and which bulb to buy The fitting has one light point with a G9 socket and takes a source of up to 10 W. No bulb is included, and Lucide names its own G9 LED of 3.5 W at 2700 K as the appropriate source. That sets the scale: FIGARO gives atmospheric light alongside other fittings rather than light to read by. The globe is opal inside and out, so the light spreads all round with no marked direction and no hard glare. The 10 W ceiling follows from the enclosed globe and is a real limit — a stronger bulb does not belong in it. Switching and build The lamp is switched by a switch on the cord, so it needs neither a switched socket nor a wall switch of its own. The manufacturer states that neither the fitting nor its intended source is dimmable, and adding a dimmer changes nothing here. The body is porcelain under a glossy spray-applied coating, with dark flecks visible in the glaze.
