LUMINES GEMI recessed LED profile, black anodised, 2.02 m

Name: LUMINES GEMI recessed LED profile, black anodised, 2.02 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES GEMI 10-1002-20 is a black anodised aluminium profile for recessed LED-strip installations. This version is 2.02 m long. Its wide channel accommodates two strips running side by side, distinguishing GEMI from narrower profiles designed for a single strip.Planning the recessThe profile is designed for prepared recesses in furniture and plasterboard structures. It measures 35.2 mm across its full width and 13 mm in height. The cross-section drawing also distinguishes the 27.2 mm lower body width from the upper flanges. Check the complete drawing before machining the recess rather than assuming that the overall width is the required opening width. The manufacturer lists press-fit installation and double-sided tape as mounting methods. In furniture, GEMI can form a decorative line of light around shelving and cabinets. Plan its position together with the cable route and access to the other lighting components. Two strips and the DOUBLE cover systemGEMI accepts two LED strips, each up to 10 mm wide. It is a construction component, not a complete working light: the profile alone does not determine colour temperature, brightness or control options. Those depend on the selected strips, power supply and controller. The manufacturer specifies DOUBLE covers and dedicated GEMI end caps for this system. Choose the cover and end pieces by their system compatibility rather than assuming that similar-looking accessories from another profile family will fit. The power supply sits outside the profile, so allow for its location when designing the furniture or plasterboard assembly.A black detail in a linear installationBlack anodising describes the finish of the aluminium body, not the colour of the emitted light. The rectangular cross-section and straight edges suit modern, minimalist detailing. The final visible result also depends on the chosen cover and LED strips. Any protection rating achieved by a completed lighting assembly should not be treated as a property of the bare, unassembled profile.Pokaż więcej
