The LED Labs LED PRO D connector 24-0000-63 connects an 8 mm COB LED strip to a DC 2.1/5.5 socket. A white cable links the transparent strip clamp to the white power socket. This is an electrical connection accessory, not an LED strip or a power supply.Match the strip and power connectionThis two-pin version is intended for 8 mm COB strips. Both strip width and contact layout need to match when choosing the connector; a similar appearance does not make different versions interchangeable. The DC 2.1/5.5 socket designation also defines the format of the mating power plug.The manufacturer specifies 5, 12 and 24 V DC, with a maximum current of 2 A. The connector does not convert voltage, so the strip and its power supply must use the same operating voltage. The current limit applies to the connection: compare it with the current required by the connected strip section before installation. The 15 cm cable has two conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.3 mm². Allow for that cable length when planning the distance between the strip end and the power plug.A strip connection without solderingThe closing clamp uses pins that pierce the PCB, providing a strip-side connection without soldering. The clamp component measures 22 × 12 × 7 mm, giving you dimensions to check against the space available at the strip end.The connector can be used with IP20 and IP65 strips, but closing the clamp alone does not preserve IP65 protection.
