Gea Luce GES2040 recessed LED step light, white glass, 4.5 W IP66

Name: Gea Luce GES2040 recessed LED step light, white glass, 4.5 W IP66
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GES2040 is a recessed step light with an aluminium body and a rectangular front made from white, semi-transparent glass. The visible face is a glass plate with a central illuminated area, rather than a projecting arm or shade.Check the front and the space behind itThe front measures 115 mm wide by 81 mm high, while the fitting is 51 mm deep. Compare these measurements with the planned position in the wall before ordering. The size of the visible plate does not, on its own, describe the space needed behind the finished surface. The manufacturer's drawing shows the fitting and its mounting box separately.A type 503 back box is required and is not supplied. The LED module and transformer are included. This is a recessed installation, not a light intended simply to screw onto a completed wall without preparing a space for its body.Choose the light colour before installationA selector offers 3000 K, 4000 K or 6000 K before the fitting is finally seated. These correspond to warm, neutral and cool white. The manufacturer lists 320, 400 and 380 lm respectively, so changing the colour-temperature setting also changes the declared light output. The fitting is rated at 4.5 W and operates by switching on and off. It is not dimmable: CCT selection is not a brightness adjustment. The supply is 220–240 V AC, and the manufacturer describes the light distribution as indirect with a 120° beam angle.Step lighting and low-level circulation routesThe manufacturer specifies outdoor use and an IP66 rating. GES2040 can be considered for stair lighting and walls beside circulation routes, including beside a terrace. Its white glass face and straightforward rectangular shape suit modern and minimalist finishes. For a bathroom installation, the permitted electrical installation zone still needs to be checked separately. The instructions require installation by qualified personnel and disconnection of the mains before work. For cleaning, they specify a damp cloth with mild detergent followed by drying with a soft cloth. Water and detergent must not reach the cables or electrical components.Pokaż więcej
