Ellen 40 pendant lamp Black Nordlux

Name: Ellen 40 pendant lamp Black Nordlux
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Ellen 40 is a black pendant light with a broad, hemispherical metal shade. Its smooth dome and slender suspension cable form a simple outline without arms or decorative fittings. This RAL 9005 version, article 48573003, belongs to the Ellen family. The number 40 refers to the shade diameter, not the number of light sources.A 40 cm shade directing light belowThe shade measures 40 cm across and 20 cm high. Its open lower edge lets light travel downwards, while the metal dome does not glow across its surface like an opal shade. That distinction matters when choosing a pendant over a table: Ellen emphasises the area beneath the fitting rather than presenting a luminous globe from every direction. This arrangement suits a dining or kitchen table and can also be used above a kitchen island. In a living room, bedroom, hotel or restaurant, choose the suspension position according to the purpose of the area below. Compare the dome's width with the furniture before installation, allowing the clearance needed above the tabletop and around walkways. One E27 bulb, purchased separatelyThe fitting has one E27 socket and accepts a bulb rated at no more than 40 W. No light source is included. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the bulb you choose; the pendant itself has no fixed colour temperature or light output. Dimming is possible with a suitable dimmable bulb, rather than through a built-in brightness control.Textile cable and Scandinavian detailingThe black cable is 200 cm long and has a textile outer surface. Nordlux specifies that it is not replaceable and that the fitting is not suitable for hook suspension. Refer to the mounting instructions when planning the installation instead of assuming compatibility with any existing ceiling fixing. The rounded shade, single black finish and absence of ornament support Scandinavian, minimalist and modern interiors. Ellen 40 is intended for indoor use; its appearance alone does not establish suitability for outdoor installation.Pokaż więcej
