Daphne small pendant lamp - 1 light source - Matte black and natural rope Elstead

Name: Daphne small pendant lamp - 1 light source - Matte black and natural rope Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

The small Daphne is a pendant light by Alora Mood, distributed by Elstead Lighting, with a cone-shaped shade. The upper part of the shade is matte black steel, and the lower part is a wrap of braided natural-fibre rope. The fitting hangs on a rigid black rod rather than a cord. Dimensions and hanging height The shade is 18.1 cm in diameter and 28.9 cm tall, clearly narrower than a typical light over a table — compare this diameter with the width of the surface it will hang above. The ceiling plate is 12.7 cm across and 2.5 cm deep, and the light weighs 1.8 kg. The overall drop ranges from 40.6 to 150.8 cm. It is set with the rods supplied: three of 30.5 cm, one of 15.2 cm and one of 10.2 cm. The length is therefore chosen at installation, and changing it later means rearranging the rods rather than sliding a cord. It is a Class I fitting, so the installation needs an earth conductor. Light source The light takes one E27 bulb of up to 60 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself. With a dimmer, use a bulb marked as dimmable. The steel part of the shade is opaque and directs the light downwards, while some light passes sideways through the rope weave at the lower edge. Style and use The manufacturer describes the Daphne collection as a blend of geometric shapes with a nod to Japanese aesthetics within mid-century design — hence the modernist style. The light is for indoor use, above a dining table and over a kitchen island.Pokaż więcej
