A ready-made T junction instead of a 45° mitre cut The LUMINES CLARO Type T connector (code 14-2029-55) is a factory-made T-shaped piece that lets a line of light built from CLARO profile branch in three directions. Without it you would have to cut the profile ends at 45° and fit them together on site — doable, but it wants a good saw, a square and some practice. Here the corners are already cut and finished at the factory, so the joint comes out straight first time. How it joins the run The T piece shares the cross-section geometry of the CLARO profile, so it takes the same diffuser and the same tape. Individual profile sections are coupled to it from the inside using straight mounting connectors — a separate catalogue item (14-3032-02) worth ordering alongside, two per joint. The interior stays clear, so the supply cable can be routed through the junction without ever leaving the profile's outline. What it is for Type T is the piece that turns a straight line into a layout. It is most often used when a perpendicular branch has to run out over a kitchen island or a desk, when a line of light travels along a corridor and needs to turn into a room off it, or when you want to build a regular grid out of profile across a ceiling. Together with Type L (corner) and Type X (crossing) it gives you the full set for routing light across a ceiling in any plan. White lacquer to match the profile This version is lacquered white and colour-matched to the white CLARO profiles (10-0601-10, 10-0601-20, 10-0601-30).
