The top of the coffee maker has a heat resistant borosilicate cone shaped glass upper brewing section, which holds the filter in place during the initial blooming stage until the completion of the pour over brewing stage. The stylish hour glass shape extends into the lower double wall, vacuum insulated, copper lined, stainless steel carafe.
