Unlike polymer tubing, stainless steel tubing requires a different cutting approach to avoid collapsing the internal diameter, which can negatively impact system performance. Once properly scored, the tubing is cleanly snapped, preserving the internal bore and maintaining flow integrity. This tool is suitable for tubing with outer diameters ranging from 1/32" (0.8 mm) to 1/4" (6.4 mm) and features a precision cutting wheel (0.36 mm thickness) for controlled scoring.
