It can be stored safely with the plastic case. Simply carry along your digital SAT receiver from home with you and you would not need any other appliance. But check before you leave where you have such an appropriate power supply for the receiver at the new location. Simply place the dish, LNB, its bracket and the cable with your unit together and align the SAT mirror with the help of the compass and the signal indicator of your receiver on the desired satellite.
