The Queen 1 accommodates hawos quality in a solid housing made from beech ply. In this excellent combination of woods the direction of the wood grain in each alternate ply is rotated by 9 and glued under extremely high pressure. The high rigidity resulting from this process and the grinding mills running on flexible bearings create a practical grain mill that is very gentle on your ears and fits perfectly into every modern kitchen.The grinding chamber is made from food-safe plastic (not from beech ply). Queen - the royal. It combines beauty and elegance with excellent internal qualities, just as one expects from a queen. The beech ply housing has the typical, reddish matt surface and even the cut edges are of the same colour. Queen - the queen amongst hawos grain mills.
