The USB2.0 4-Port Extender Kit allows up to four (4) USB2.0 devices to be connected to a USB host via Cat5e/6 cable. UA0230 is perfect for extending the distance between your computer and USB 2.0 devices up to 50m by using CAT5e or higher cable. The USB2.0 4-Port Extender Kit is composed of a transmitter, which must be connected directly (not via a hub) to a USB port of your computer, and a receiver with a built-in USB 2.0 hub allows you to connect up to four USB 2.0 devices. CAT5e or higher network patch cable is then required to connect the two units together.
