SPONSER® Collagen Hydrolysate is a flavoured drink powder based on bovine

collagen hydrolysate, enriched with vitamin C. Collagen is a structural protein

and, accounting for 30–35% of all proteins in the body, one of the most

abundant proteins. It is a key building block for skin, bones, cartilage,

tendons, ligaments and connective tissue and helps to keep the body stable,

resilient and flexible. From the age of 25, the body's own collagen production

decreases, which can manifest itself in reduced skin elasticity, wrinkles and

possible joint problems. Particularly intense training, eccentric movements

such as running downhill, jumping or strength training place a heavy strain on

tendons, cartilage and connective tissue. Collagen hydrolysates specifically

support the regeneration of these structures and contribute to tissue repair

after injuries. The vitamin C it contains promotes normal collagen formation

and supports the function of bones, teeth, cartilage, skin, gums and blood

vessels. The hydrolysed collagen from bovine sources (CH, EU) ensures optimal

bioavailability, while the product is lactose- and gluten-free. SPONSER®

Collagen Hydrolysate is suitable for daily use as well as specifically after

strenuous training sessions or as part of muscle building. It is particularly

recommended for use after eccentric exercise, as this places particular strain

on structural tissue. In combination with whey protein, it can optimally

support the formation of connective tissue, skin and extracellular matrix. In

addition, Collagen Hydrolysate helps to maintain skin elasticity and connective

tissue during the natural ageing process. Recommended intake: Take 15 g daily

with approx. 200 ml of water; combine with Whey Protein if desired. Do not

exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements are not a substitute for a
