A large pendant with soft light VT-82-3 from the Soft Light range is a pendant measuring 60 × 50 × 40 cm and weighing 5.8 kg — noticeably larger than a typical dining pendant. It is built from aluminium profiles with black acrylic diffusers; the diffusers scatter the diode light so that no individual points are visible from any angle. Hence the range name: output leaves across the whole surface rather than from hard sources. The supply cable is 40 cm, so the fitting hangs relatively close to the ceiling. That matters when planning: over a dining table in a room of normal height it will sit noticeably higher than a classic pendant, which at this size is an advantage — it does not block the view across the table. Dimming and supply quality The fitting is dimmable, and the manufacturer declares compatibility with dimmers of a specific type — before buying a control, check that yours appears on the compatibility list. The power factor is 0.98, very high for a fitting in this class: apparent current is almost equal to real current, so several of these on one circuit load the protection barely more than the sum of their watts suggests.
