RIO 3 55/78/110 black LED 4000K pendant lamp

Name: RIO 3 55/78/110 black LED 4000K pendant lamp
Brand: Thoro

RIO 3 is a pendant light made of three vertically hung, overlapping rings 55, 78 and 110 cm in diameter. The black aluminium rings have a 4 cm wide profile, and each hangs from two transparent wires beneath a shared rectangular black ceiling canopy. A white diffuser band runs along the inside of the rings, with the built-in LED module shining behind it.Dimensions and installationFrom the ceiling to the bottom edge of the largest ring the light measures up to 200 cm, and the suspension can be shortened. Subtract that figure from your own ceiling height – the result is the clear space left under the light at full drop. Horizontally the composition takes up 160 cm, and 20 cm in depth; compare that width with the length of the table or wall it will hang by.The light weighs 9 kg, so in a suspended ceiling it is fixed to the load-bearing structure rather than to the board alone. It is protection class I, and the installation drawing shows a protective earth terminal on the driver – an earth conductor must be available in the junction box.How much light, and what kindThe three LED modules draw 100 W in total and deliver 11,840 lm – main lighting for a large room, several times what a traditional 100 W bulb gave. 4000 K is neutral white, and a colour rendering index of CRI 98 makes wood, fabrics and walls look almost as they do in daylight. The light source is included and integrated into the fitting, so there are no bulbs to buy and the module is not changed like an ordinary bulb. The manufacturer states an LED lifetime of 50,000 hours and uses drivers chosen so that the light does not flicker.Which interiors it suitsThin, plain rings without ornament and a uniform black give it a modern form. It is intended for the living room, the dining room and over a table, as well as for the kitchen, bedroom and hallway – at 200 cm tall and 160 cm wide it works best where the ceiling is high and plenty of free space remains below it. Thoro makes it in Poland and covers it with a five-year warranty.Meer tonen
