Name: Black LED ceiling light V-TAC VT-8630B 48 W 3000 K 5160 lm, 42 × 42 cm, IP44
Brand: V-TAC

V-TAC VT-8630B is a square surface-mounted ceiling light with a black frame and white diffuser. Its body is made from PP and PMMA, measures 42 × 42 cm and projects only 6.5 cm from the ceiling. The integrated LED light source is part of the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to buy.Size and ceiling installationThe 42 cm square footprint is comparable with a large ceiling panel, while the 6.5 cm depth keeps the fitting close to the ceiling. It connects directly to a 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz supply through a terminal block. The manual requires installation by a qualified electrician and connection of the protective conductor, corresponding to protection class I.Light output and colourThe source draws 48 W and provides 5160 lm, making it an option for general room lighting rather than a small accent light. A colour temperature of 3000 K produces warm, slightly yellow-toned white light. The fitting is not dimmable, so its brightness cannot be adjusted with a dimmer.EPREL records CRI 80 and an R9 value of 10. Overall colour rendering is at a standard level for functional lighting, but reds will not look as faithful as under a source with a higher R9 value. The registry also gives Pst LM 1.0 and SVM 0.9; for prolonged precision work, these figures are worth comparing with fittings that have lower flicker metrics.Indoor use and splash-prone areasAn IP44 rating protects the enclosure against splashing water, and the catalogue lists bathroom use. The exact position still needs to comply with the electrical safety zones in the room. The installation manual limits the fitting to indoor use.V-TAC declares 20,000 operating hours and more than 15,000 switching cycles. Clean the black frame and diffuser with a soft, dry cloth without chemical detergents, after isolating the power and allowing the fitting to cool. Do not cover the light, as the manual requires free airflow around it.Meer tonen
