Rendl ORTA R14251 semi-recessed ceiling spotlight, black, GU10, Ø 6.8 cm

Name: Rendl ORTA R14251 semi-recessed ceiling spotlight, black, GU10, Ø 6.8 cm
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl ORTA R14251 is a black aluminium ceiling spotlight with a short cylindrical body that remains visible below the ceiling. A circular flange frames the cylinder, with the light source set back inside it. This is a semi-recessed fitting for plasterboard, rather than a surface-mounted tube intended to attach directly to a solid ceiling.Allow space above the plasterboardThe outside diameter is 6.8 cm, while the required cut-out is 6.4 cm. These measurements serve different purposes: one describes the visible fitting and the other the opening in the ceiling. The exposed body is 3.2 cm high, but the specified recess depth is 11 cm. Check the space above the board before ordering instead of judging installation clearance from the shallow visible cylinder. The rear photograph shows mounting springs and the lamp holder positioned above the body. Connection to the 230 V supply must be carried out by a qualified installer with the power switched off.Choose one replaceable GU10 LEDORTA takes one GU10 LED light source rated at no more than 9 W. Select the bulb separately; this is not a fitting with an integrated LED module and a fixed set of lighting characteristics. The chosen bulb determines the light colour, brightness and beam angle. Neither the black finish nor the maximum wattage establishes how much light the completed fitting will provide. The manufacturer permits dimming with a suitable light source. If brightness control is part of your plan, choose a dimmable bulb and compatible controls rather than assuming that any GU10 LED will dim.A visible cylinder for a modern ceilingThe plain black tube suits modern and minimalist interiors. It can form ceiling lighting points in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or circulation area with suitable plasterboard construction. Set the spacing and select the bulbs for the actual lighting task; one compact spotlight does not establish the illumination level of an entire room.Meer tonen
