NORDICA wall lamp white with wood 4924

Name: NORDICA wall lamp white with wood 4924
Brand: Mantra

NORDICA 4924 is a wall light with a fabric shade shaped as a slightly tapered cylinder, held in a white metal yoke. The shade turns on a wooden pivot, and a black-and-white braided cable arcs from the wall plate to the top edge of the shade. It was designed by Carlos Santolaria and Manel Lluscà. How much room it takes and how it adjusts The fitting is 18 cm tall and stands 31 cm out from the wall. That second figure decides where it goes: 31 cm reaches into the room, so beside a narrow passage or right next to a bed it is worth measuring first. The wall plate is 10 cm across and the shade 16 cm. The shade is not fixed in place. The wooden pivot lets it tilt down or lift, and because the weave passes part of the light, the lamp throws light in the chosen direction and softly around itself at the same time. Which bulb it needs The socket is E27 and there is one place for a lamp. No bulb is supplied, and the manufacturer allows LED lamps only, up to 20 W: an incandescent or halogen is ruled out even at lower power, because a fabric shade does not carry their heat away. The instructions also give the maximum lamp size: 60 mm across and 120 mm long. Sixty millimetres is exactly an ordinary A60 envelope, so a larger globe or a decorative filament lamp will not fit under this shade. The manufacturer does not provide for dimming this fitting. Installation and build The fitting hangs on a metal bracket screwed to the wall with two screws 70 mm apart, and the body is locked from below with a grub screw. The manufacturer states protection class I, so an earth conductor has to be present in the box; the supply is 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz. The shade is fabric, the yoke and wall plate are metal, and the pivot is wood with a visible grain. The fitting weighs 0.8 kg and the manufacturer intends it for indoor use only.Meer tonen
