The Moss 6772GR is a Norlys outdoor spotlight on a flat base plate. Its cylindrical head, cast in aluminium and powder-coated graphite RAL 7016, is closed at the front with clear safety glass and sits on a curved arm that lets it tilt in the vertical plane and lock with a screw. Where and how it bolts down The whole fitting stands 110 mm tall and 88 mm deep on a base plate 70 mm across — compare that with the spot on the wall, post or soffit where it has to go. The base plate has two Ø5 mm holes set 180 degrees apart, 50 mm between them; that is what you mark out and drill. The set is made up of the arm, index 6437, and the luminaire, 6701 — any other mounting accessory is sold separately by Norlys. A factory-fitted H05RN-F 3G1 cable 3 m long leaves the fitting with a free end, and it has to be taken into a junction box rated for outdoor use. Those three metres decide how far from the mounting point that box can sit. How much light it gives, and of what kind Norlys rates this version at 8 W and 686 lm of luminaire flux on a 230 V supply. That is close to an old 60 W bulb in brightness, but aimed in one direction — Moss picks out a single tree, a shrub or a stretch of wall rather than lighting a whole yard. The light source is built in and supplied with the fitting. The colour is 3000 K, warm white with a faintly yellow cast that looks more natural on brickwork and bark than neutral light does. The output can be dimmed, but an external phase dimmer is needed — the fitting itself carries no control of its own. What it stands up to outdoors IP65 means fully dust-tight and proof against a water jet from a nozzle, so the fitting stays outside through rain and while the garden is being watered. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium and the front is closed with safety glass. Norlys gives 25 years of anti-corrosion warranty on the coating and 5 years on the fitting itself. Rated LED module life is 59,000 hours, and total harmonic distortion stays under 20% — which matters once a dozen of these share one circuit.Meer tonen
