These polyethylene filters are manufactured to provide very high filter capacity and throughput while being "biocompatible". The 20 um pore size will filter larger undissolved particles from your solvents before they enter your HPLC pumps, columns and instrument but will produce much less resistance to the vacuum and the in-flow of solvents than the 2 um or the 10 um filters. Note: The advantage of a white filter element is that they make it easy to quickly see particles that have been trapped by the filter and if the element needs to be replaced to maintain proper flow of your solvents. These filter elements are soft and easy to remove and replace. The All-PEEK tripod, 3 step molded connector, allows for inlet tubing from the mobile phase delivery system (pump) to easily slip over it making it usable with 1/16th inch (1.6 mm) and 1/8th inch (3.2 mm) ID, low pressure tubing. No ferrules or nuts are required. Use these filters directly in your mobile phase reservoir bottles.Meer tonen
