The Mantra SAONA C0191 is a square recessed downlight, 14.5 cm to a side and only 2.2 cm deep. Its built-in LED module delivers 1080 lm from 12 W in a neutral 4000 K. The aluminium-and-acrylic body is finished in matt white, and the whole thing weighs 0.37 kg. Cut-out: a 130 x 130 mm square This is the first thing to check before buying. SAONA C0191 is square, not round — the ceiling opening needs a 130 mm side, not a 130 mm diameter. Mantra makes the same fitting in a round version too (ref. C0197, also 12 W / 4000 K), so it is worth confirming which one you are ordering; a hole cut for one will not take the other. 2.2 cm of recess depth — it fits where an ordinary downlight will not The body is just 22 mm deep. A standard recessed fitting usually needs 5–10 cm of void above the ceiling; this needs under 2.5 cm. That opens up shallow plasterboard build-ups, low suspended ceilings and stretch ceilings, where both depth and weight are critical — and 0.37 kg is genuinely light. 1080 lm at 4000 K Efficacy works out at 90 lm/W. 1080 lumens from one fitting is roughly what an old 75 W incandescent gave, so lighting a room means several of them on a grid — a single unit suits a worktop, a wardrobe or a corridor. 4000 K is neutral white: without the yellow cast of 3000 K and without the chill of 6000 K, which suits kitchens, bathrooms and rooms you work in. Colour rendering is CRI 80. Protection class II — no earth conductor needed The luminaire is protection class II, meaning double insulation and no protective earth connection. In older installations where the lighting circuit simply has no earth, that is the condition that decides whether it can be fitted at all. Supply is 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms. The source is permanently built in The LED module is integrated and not replaceable — the manufacturer states "Replaceable: No" outright.
