E452 is a square step light 14 cm on a side, with a horizontal light slot across the middle. It projects just 2.6 cm from the wall and — importantly — needs no cut-out: the manufacturer states plainly that there is no mounting hole and no required recess depth. It screws onto a finished wall, including one you can no longer chase. What it is for This is orientation lighting, not general lighting. 185 lm from a 3 W module is enough to mark the edge of a step, light an outdoor stair flight or lead a path along a wall — without glare and without flooding the garden. The slot releases the beam as a narrow band, so the light lands on the paving rather than in the eyes of whoever is coming down.
