GLSAD1 is a mains adapter, not a lamp: a small black plug with a single USB-A socket that goes into a 230 V outlet. It charges the cordless table lamps made by Gea Luce. Why it has to be bought separately Gea Luce's rechargeable table lamps — the BRILLIA series (GLS050–GLS055) and the GLS030–GLS032 models — come with a 150 cm USB cable but no adapter. GLSAD1 is that missing piece when there is no spare charger on the premises. One adapter takes one lamp; where there are many tables, the manufacturer offers the GLSAD2 variant, a station with ten ports. Ratings and what the box does not hold The housing is marked with an input of 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz drawing up to 0.3 A, and an output of 5.0 V DC, 2.0 A — that is 10 W. The output is SELV, safety extra-low voltage, and the adapter is class II, so its two-pin plug needs no earth contact and works in an unearthed socket too. No USB cable is included: the one supplied with the lamp is assumed. Gea Luce lamps charge over USB-C, so the cable must end in that connector.
