DURAN® Separating Funnel, with glass key, 1000 mL A separating funnel has the shape of a pointed flask with a drain cock at its tip. The separating funnel is used for the liquid-liquid extraction of two immiscible liquids (substance separation process) and can thus also be used for cleaning processes.
