Filters are traceable by lot number and meet all current USP and FDA guidelines. Generally, cannula filters are made of UMWH PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene). In some cases where the chemical compatibility of UMWH PE is a problem, we offer cannula filters made of PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride).
