Why we use 16mm² 5 core on 63A A 63A supply is typically feeding significant loads or downstream distribution, so conductor size matters. We use 16mm² 5 core to give proper electrical headroom and help keep voltage drop lower on longer runs. In plain terms, that means cleaner power delivery and less stress on connected equipment, especially as cable length increases.
