GFA1110C Recessed Light, White, Gea Luce

Name: GFA1110C Recessed Light, White, Gea Luce
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1110C is a compact recessed LED spotlight with a circular white front and an aluminium body. Its optical element sits back inside the fitting rather than exposing the light source at the ceiling plane. The package includes the LED module and a separate transformer that is not built into the body.Check the cut-out as well as the visible diameterThe outside diameter is 40 mm. The manufacturer's drawing specifies a 35 mm cut-out and a fitting height of 65 mm. These dimensions describe different parts of the installation: the visible rim is not the size of the hole. Compare each measurement with the prepared ceiling and the available space above it before choosing the fitting. The separate transformer also needs to be accommodated. The catalogue gives indicative dimensions of 38 × 19 × 16.5 mm, explicitly allowing for changes. Those measurements belong to the power supply, not to the spotlight itself. A small visible front therefore does not describe the complete installation envelope.Warm light with a defined beamThe C variant provides 3000 K light with a stated output of 400 lm. Its 40° beam is more concentrated than a wide, diffuse distribution. This supports local lighting accents; using several fittings for room lighting requires a layout based on their number, position and the actual space rather than an assumption that one point covers the room. The integrated LED module is rated at 5 W. Operation is on/off only: this fitting is not dimmable, so it is not the appropriate choice for a scheme requiring brightness control. The assembly uses a 220–240 V AC supply.A small element in a ceiling schemeThe plain white ring and compact proportions suit modern and minimalist interiors. It can form an additional lighting point in living rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls or corridors. It is intended for recessed indoor installation, not garden use. The manufacturer describes the recessed optics as anti-glare, which should not be read as a promise of zero glare from every viewing direction.Show more
