Quintiesse Willard wall light 1×E27 – vintage brass finish, prismatic glass

Name: Quintiesse Willard wall light 1×E27 – vintage brass finish, prismatic glass
Brand: Quintiesse

Willard is a single-socket wall light with a round backplate, a short horizontal arm and a downward-facing glass shade. Clear prismatic glass gives the shade a textured surface and a geometric outline that tapers to a point underneath. The metal parts are steel with a vintage brass finish: brass describes the surface colour, rather than the material of the whole fitting.Allow for its projection from the wallThe fitting measures 29.5 cm high and 15.2 cm wide, with a projection of 19.1 cm. When choosing a position, consider the space in front of the glass as well as the area occupied by the backplate. Compare that projection with furniture edges, nearby door movement and the route people take through the room. A narrow front view does not make this a flush-fitting wall light.Willard is intended for interiors. Its wall-mounted format can provide supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room, as well as a hallway, corridor, study or office. On a staircase, keeping the walking route clear is particularly relevant. This is not an adjustable spotlight for aiming at a selected task or object.Choose the E27 bulb separatelyOne E27 bulb is required, with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, and there is no integrated LED module. Your choice of bulb therefore determines the light colour and output. The prismatic glass refracts light passing through the shade; the illuminated bulb shown in the photographs demonstrates the fitting rather than its supplied contents. The manufacturer confirms compatibility with dimmable lamps. If brightness adjustment is needed, select a bulb and control that work together. This is a Class I mains fitting for a 220–240 V supply.Art Deco geometry in a vintage finishThe concentric backplate, straight arm and strongly shaped shade support an Art Deco and retro setting. The vintage metal finish is paired with transparent textured glass rather than a fabric shade. Consider that distinction when coordinating Willard with other lighting and metal details in the room.Show more
