Wall lamp FREYA 120 ochre red

Name: Wall lamp FREYA 120 ochre red
Brand: Thoro

Thoro's FREYA 120 is an ochre-red steel wall light with a tall, narrow body and straight folded edges. Its front is a continuous surface, while an opening near the lower end allows light to pick out the wall beneath the fitting. This is the 120 cm TH.337 version, rather than one of the shorter sizes in the collection.Plan for the full heightThe fitting measures 6 cm across, with a second horizontal dimension of 8 cm. That creates a slender outline, but its full 120 cm height still needs to be checked against furniture, wall space and the electrical connection point. Marking that length on the wall before installation is more useful than judging its size from a close-up photograph. The elongated body does not mean that a luminous strip runs along its entire length.Use it as supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, hallway or corridor. In a kitchen or dining room it can contribute to the wider lighting scheme, rather than automatically replacing lighting over a worktop or table. Account for the single light source and its position towards the bottom when planning the room.A separately chosen GU10 bulbFREYA has one GU10 socket and accepts a light source rated at no more than 10 W. The bulb is not included. Its colour temperature and lumen output depend on the bulb you buy; the fitting itself has no fixed colour temperature or confirmed multi-colour switching. An illuminated product photograph demonstrates the bulb used for that image, not a guaranteed light colour with every compatible bulb.A colour accent with a wired connectionThe plain steel surface and restrained geometry suit modern and minimalist interiors where a vertical line and a coloured accent are wanted. The light mounts on the wall and connects to a 230 V installation. Its Class I construction requires a protective earth conductor. The installation drawing shows the power being isolated before work begins, so plan the position and access to the connections before closing the housing.Show more
