The V-TAC VT-60024 is a round white LED panel designed for surface mounting on a ceiling. At 3.12 cm high, this surface model does not need a body-sized ceiling cut-out like a recessed panel. A crossbar on the rear is fixed to the ceiling, and the panel body is secured to it after the electrical connection is completed.The fitting connects directly to an AC 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz supply. V-TAC's instructions require the supply to be isolated and installation to be carried out by a qualified electrician. The installation point therefore needs a suitable ceiling power outlet, but no large round recess.Light colour and colour renderingA colour temperature of 4000 K gives a neutral white without a strongly yellow or cool blue cast. The manual identifies it as replaceable by a professional; removing the module independently voids the warranty. The panel is not dimmable and consequently operates at a fixed output after connection.V-TAC declares a 20,000-hour service life and more than 15,000 switching cycles. The EPREL record gives flicker metrics of PstLM 1.0 and SVM 0.4; when comparing panels for prolonged visual tasks, lower figures indicate less temporal light modulation.
