Luces Exclusivas CALATA LE62124 white trimless LED downlight 5 W 3000 K
Luces Exclusivas CALATA LE62124 is a white aluminium LED downlight for trimless installation. Its perforated flange is intended to be plastered into the ceiling finish, rather than left as a projecting decorative ring. The recessed light source sits inside a white circular opening, with a black, vertically ribbed heat sink behind it.Plan the ceiling finish first Choose this fitting while planning the finished ceiling surface. Its mounting flange becomes part of that finish, so the result differs from a conventional downlight with an exposed rim covering the edge of the opening. The small round front and restrained white finish suit modern, minimalist interiors where the lighting is integrated into the architecture instead of becoming a separate decorative object. The manufacturer specifies a diameter of 6 cm and a height of 8.1 cm. Compare these measurements with the space available above the ceiling before preparing the installation. The fitting diameter is not automatically the required cut-out diameter; the opening must be determined from the installation requirements rather than assumed from the overall size.A warm, concentrated light point The integrated LED source is included, with a rating of 5 W, an output of 283 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K. There is no separate screw-base bulb to select. Its 36° beam is useful when planning a localised pool of light rather than expecting one small fitting to spread light widely across a room. CALATA can supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. The number of fittings should reflect ceiling height and the intended lighting effect; the output of one point does not establish adequate illumination for the entire space. CRI >90 indicates high colour rendering. The manufacturer also states UGR <10, which should not be read as a guarantee for every possible installation layout.Installation decisions This LE62124 variant operates at 230 V and has an IP20 rating. The stated service life is 50,000 hours, with a five-year warranty. Check control compatibility and connection requirements before installation; an integrated LED source alone does not establish compatibility with a dimmer.Show more
