The Hellvik 2410CS is a standing garden luminaire shaped as an open rectangular frame 85 cm tall. The body is a powder-coated aluminium casting in a corten-steel shade — rust brown and matt. Light leaves the inside of the frame and is covered from above. How much room it takes and how it is fixed down The frame measures 42 cm wide, 11 cm deep and 85 cm high, so the luminaire stands at roughly hip height and lights what is immediately beside it — the path surface, the edge of a terrace, a driveway. Compare those 42 cm of width with the width of the bed or strip of planting the luminaire is meant to stand in. The concrete anchor is included, so setting it into concrete needs nothing bought on top. For soil, Norlys offers the 209GA0009 ground anchor separately, and the 209GA0S09 adapter for a finished foundation — both are bought on their own. The light it gives The luminaire emits 1014 lm and draws 11,8 W. 3000 K is warm white; the output is diffused and shielded from above, with 4% escaping upwards, so the fitting lights the surface rather than the windows of the house and the sky. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough outdoors, where the point is reading shapes and edges rather than colour accuracy. There is no LED module to choose or buy — it is built in. The luminaire dims on a TRIAC phase dimmer, and the manufacturer clears both leading edge (LE) and trailing edge (TE), so it also works with older R/RL dimmers. Build and life outdoors The cover is structured, UV-stabilised clear polycarbonate and a silicone gasket seals the joint in the body. IP65 means full protection against dust and against water jets, so the fitting runs without any shelter; IK08 is impact resistance, which counts along a path or driveway where a luminaire is easy to knock. The terminals take conductors up to 2×4 mm² and looping up to 2×2,5 mm², which lets the supply run from one luminaire to the next instead of pulling a separate cable to each. Round cable diameter is 12,5 mm at most. A professional replaces the LED module and the driver — Norlys stocks the ZS2400zx0009 service set for it, so an electronics failure is not the end of the fitting.Show more
