Acapa is a round ceiling light 40 cm across and just 5 cm deep. That proportion — a wide, very flat disc — is the point of the product: the fitting sits against the ceiling and takes practically no height out of the room, which in flats with a 250 cm ceiling is the difference between "it works" and "it hangs over your head". Aluminium and acrylic The body is aluminium and the whole lower plane is closed by a white acrylic diffuser. Acrylic spreads the light evenly across 40 centimetres, so from below you see a uniformly glowing circle rather than individual LED points. The aluminium acts as a heatsink here — it draws heat away from the module, which in a closed, flat fitting decides how long the diodes last. The light The built-in 30 W LED module works at a warm 3000 K. That is the temperature at which wood, textiles and skin tones look natural, and at which evening light does not stimulate the way cool white does. The source is supplied with the fitting — no lamps to buy. At 40 cm across and 30 W the fitting serves as the main light for an average room, a bedroom or a hallway. The flat volume also suits places with a concrete slab, where recessing is simply not an option. IP20 restricts it to dry rooms: bedroom, living room, corridor, child's room — but not a shower zone. Where it works A neutral white circle is a fitting meant not to draw attention. It belongs where the ceiling should stay quiet and other elements of the interior carry the decorative role — a bedroom, a corridor, a home office, a rented flat.
